The Myler Level 2 olive bit is a barrel bit with a slight tongue passage that does not bend. The central cylinder and the arched shape of the barrels allows the horse to have a good pressure distribution in the horse's mouth. This prevents the tongue from being subjected to too much pressure. It prevents the risk of tongue pinching. Compared to the level 1 model, the tongue passage frees more space for the tongue and is particularly interesting to use on a horse with a thick and/or sensitive tongue. It allows the horse to come to rest on its mouthpiece. It allows a very good communication thanks to the anatomical shape of the barrel, the stability of the bit (thanks to the blocking of the barrel), and the frank and precise contact of the stainless steel barrel. The demands are clear and precise. It is therefore suitable for many horses and especially for horses in training. The olive rings allow a more direct contact between the rider's hand and the horse's mouth. This is an advantage in order to improve the horse's grip, as it will want to come to rest against the hand. In addition, the olives eliminate the risk of pinching the corners of the mouth, which is interesting for horses that are sensitive to the corners of the mouth.
