Pelham single jointed anatomic Titanium - Lorenzini

The Lorenzini anatomical single-jointed Pelham bit is suitable for horses requiring greater control and precision while retaining a lightweight feel in the mouth.

Its single-jointed mouthpiece allows the rider to act more independently on each side of the mouth. Its anatomical shape follows the horse's oral conformation and helps distribute pressure progressively over the tongue and bars.

Made from titanium, this bit is exceptionally lightweight and provides a soft feel in the mouth. Titanium remains close to ambient temperature and encourages comfortable acceptance of the bit and salivation.

The Pelham features a large ring at mouthpiece level and offers several rein attachment options. Using the upper ring creates a slightly lifting action, while attaching the reins to the lower ring increases leverage and produces a stronger lowering action. It can also be ridden with two pairs of reins or Pelham roundings.

Titanium: Lorenzini was the first company in the world to use titanium in equestrian equipment. Extremely lightweight and smooth to the touch, titanium makes the bit particularly discreet in the horse's mouth. Biocompatible, it is naturally covered with a titanium dioxide layer with antibacterial properties. It remains close to ambient temperature, helping provide a more comfortable feel in the mouth. This alloy also encourages salivation and can therefore support relaxation and better acceptance of the bit.
