Do you know the funnel approach ? That's how we usually work to determine the most suitable bit. You need to be attentive to the various signals your horse might emit, which could help determine his sensitivities. Does he shake his head? Does he rest on his bit? We explain everything in our Advice section. 

The bit should be rinsed with water after each use to remove saliva and residues. Don't forget to dry it with a towel. If impurities are difficult to remove, you can use a small cleaning brush. Never use a metallic brush, however, as the bristles may scratch the bit, making it uneven and sharp.
