Choosing the right bit is not an exact science. To help you validate your theoretical choice in practice, we offer the option to convert your purchase into a rental if the initial trials of the bit are not successful. We recommend trying the bit for at least two to three sessions to properly assess its suitability for your horse.

 

You have 15 days after receipt of your order to change your mind and convert your purchase into a rental.

Which Bits Are Available for Rental?

 

The rental service is available for all bits except those made of leather, textile, foam, or wood. Pre-owned bits are also eligible for rental.

 

What Are the Conditions?

 

To enjoy the rental service, the following conditions must be met:

 

  • The bit must be returned in its original packaging or, if unavailable, in protective packaging.
  • It must be sent back within 15 days of receiving your initial order (weekends and holidays included).
  • The bit must be in excellent condition or show only minimal wear.
  • The bit must not have any notches or surface scratches exceeding 1 cm in length.

What Does the Rental Cost?

 

The rental fee depends on the material and value of the bit:

  • Metal bits (stainless steel, copper, titanium, sweet iron): €20*

  • Bits made of resin, carbon, or rubber: €25*

For second-hand bits, the rental fee is based on the original price of the bit, not the discounted price.

 

You can choose to receive either a store credit valid for 2 years or a refund.

 

Example: You purchase a titanium bit for €150 and selected free Colissimo shipping (€7.90). The rental fee is €20. Mors and More will refund: €150 – (€20 + €7.90) = €123.10

 

*If the bit shows notches or scratches exceeding 1 cm, the refund will be 40% of the purchase value.

 

How to return a bit for rental?

 

  1. Go to your "My Orders" section in your customer account.
  2. Select the relevant order.
  3. Check the bit(s) you wish to return as a rental and specify the reason.
  4. Click "Validate My Return" to receive your return number.
  5. Send the item(s) with the return number in protective packaging to one of the following addresses:
