Tango bits

Multiple configurations are possible with the Tango bit:

- Fixed on the lower ring: The reins can be attached directly to the small lower ring, creating the strongest leverage effect.

- Using straps on the middle and lower rings: In this case, the leverage is divided, providing a softer action.

- With four reins: This configuration allows the rider to modulate the leverage effect, adjusting the bit’s action as needed.

Do you know the funnel approach ? That's how we usually work to determine the most suitable bit. You need to be attentive to the various signals your horse might emit, which could help determine his sensitivities. Does he shake his head? Does he rest on his bit? We explain everything in our Advice section. 

The bit should be rinsed with water after each use to remove saliva and residues. Don't forget to dry it with a towel. If impurities are difficult to remove, you can use a small cleaning brush. Never use a metallic brush, however, as the bristles may scratch the bit, making it uneven and sharp.
