Description
Effect: A rather lowering bit, the classic 3 rings has more direct leverage than the German 3 rings. The barrel locked single jointed allows for some play and freedom in the contact, but with the security of more control when needed.
Usage advice: This bit can be used with reins fixed on the bottom ring, with rings or with two pairs of reins. The 3 rings barrel locked will have more action than a classic 3 rings double jointed. Its slightly thinner barrel size than a standard barrel will allow a little more finesse in what you are trying to achieve.
