Expert opinion
: The ERIC bridle bit is a sweet iron bit with a tongue passage towards the front of the bit. It gives the tongue more freedom and space in the snaffle bit. Its forward slope gives the tongue more room when the tension on the bridle rein is low. When the tension increases, the pressure is mainly on the tongue while protecting the bars. It is an ideal bit for horses with sensitive bars or with little space in the mouth. Sold with a curb chain and hooks.
Material
Sweet iron : L’alliage Sweet Iron s’oxyde au contact de l’humidité de la bouche et de l’air. L’oxydation apporte un goût sucré qui stimule naturellement la production de salive. Cela correspond à l’effet d’un sucre que l’on donne au cheval en début de séance mais permet de diffuser ce goût sucré tout au long du travail. Par conséquent, cet alliage permet une bonne acceptation du mors et aide à la prise de contact du cheval vers son embouchure. L’oxydation modifie l’aspect du mors au fur et à mesure des séances.
