Baby Pelham lock up

: The BR Baby Pelham double break bit has removable legs. It is made of solid stainless steel with cuprigan fittings on the barrel and two small cuprigan rings in the middle. The barrel is designed in such a way that the cylindrical middle part functions as a rotation axis, which allows both sides of the bit to rotate independently of each other and thus be more precise in these actions. The anatomical design follows the shape of the horse's mouth, creating a smooth and even pressure distribution. The upward pointing legs with a ring are turned slightly outwards, which ensures optimum freedom for the horse's head. The bit has a fast action in the mouth. The barrel thickness is 12 mm and the total length of the legs is 102 mm. A Pelham bit can be used with Pelham rings and single reins as well as with double reins. The bit is suitable for powerful horses with a large amplitude. The leverage helps to bend the horse's neck; the longer the legs, the stronger the action.
