Dylan Sweet iron Fixed Rings - Fager

The Fager Dylan Eggbutt Bit is designed for horses that become worried in the mouth with a traditional double-jointed bit. It is particularly suitable for horses with a sensitive tongue that open their mouth, play with their tongue or put it over the bit.

The double-jointed Sweet Iron mouthpiece combines horizontal joints with a small tongue port. This design reduces constant tongue pressure while encouraging the horse to seek a steadier, more consistent contact without overreacting to the rider's rein aids.

The Sweet Iron coating gradually oxidises to create a naturally sweet taste, encouraging salivation, better acceptance of the bit and a softer, more willing contact.

The eggbutt rings provide a stable connection by limiting mouthpiece movement. They help maintain a consistent contact, making them ideal for horses that benefit from greater stability and confidence in the hand.

The combination of horizontal joints and the small tongue port distributes pressure more evenly across the tongue and bars while also being suitable for horses with a low palate.

Sweet Iron is a coating applied over a stainless steel core. When exposed to moisture, it naturally oxidises and develops a brownish-grey colour, which is completely normal. This oxidation creates a slightly sweet taste that encourages salivation and helps the horse accept the bit more willingly.
