Dylan Sweet iron Loose Rings - Fager

The Fager Dylan Loose Ring Bit is designed for horses that become worried in a conventional double-jointed bit. It is particularly suitable for horses that open their mouth, pull the reins forward or move their tongue over the bit when they feel uncomfortable.

Its double-jointed Sweet Iron mouthpiece combines horizontal joints with a small tongue relief to reduce constant tongue pressure. This design encourages the horse to confidently seek the contact while maintaining a softer and more consistent connection.

The Sweet Iron coating naturally oxidises over time, creating a pleasant sweet taste that promotes salivation and encourages the horse to accept and maintain a steady contact.

The loose rings move independently from the mouthpiece, allowing greater freedom for the tongue and enabling the horse to position the pressure where it feels most comfortable. This mobility also promotes relaxation and a softer mouth.

Sweet Iron is a coating applied over a stainless steel core. As it naturally oxidises with moisture, it develops a pleasant sweet taste that encourages salivation and motivates the horse to confidently seek and maintain the contact. Over time, the surface gradually turns brownish-grey, which is a completely normal characteristic of the material.
