The Fager Conny eggbutt bit is designed for horses that are sensitive in the mouth, become worried in a traditional double-jointed bit or struggle to maintain a steady contact. It encourages a more consistent connection while reducing overreactions to the rider's rein aids.

Its double-jointed Sweet Iron mouthpiece features horizontal joints that lie flat against the tongue and palate. This design reduces tongue pressure, relieves the bars and provides greater comfort, especially for horses with a low palate.

The Sweet Iron coating develops a naturally sweet taste that encourages the horse to seek the bit, promotes salivation and improves acceptance of the contact throughout the ride.

Eggbutt rings provide greater stability than loose rings while preventing pinching at the corners of the mouth. This stable feel helps sensitive horses maintain a steady contact without sacrificing precision. The 14 mm mouthpiece offers balanced pressure distribution.

Sweet Iron is a coating applied over a stainless steel base. As it naturally oxidises when exposed to moisture, it develops a slightly sweet taste that encourages salivation and promotes better bit acceptance. With use, the surface gradually turns brownish-grey, which is a completely normal characteristic of the material.
