Conny Sweet iron Loose Rings - Fager

The Fager Conny loose ring bit is designed for horses with sensitive mouths that may become worried in a traditional double-jointed bit. It encourages a steadier connection while reducing overreactions to the rider's rein aids.

Its double-jointed mouthpiece with horizontal joints follows the tongue more naturally and provides bar relief. This design creates a softer action than conventional double-jointed bits, making it especially suitable for horses with a low palate or sensitive mouths.

The Sweet Iron coating gradually oxidises to produce a naturally sweet taste that stimulates salivation and encourages the horse to seek and maintain a relaxed, consistent contact.

The loose rings allow the mouthpiece to move independently, giving the horse greater freedom to position the bit comfortably. This mobility promotes relaxation, suppleness and better acceptance of the contact.

Sweet Iron is a coating applied over a stainless steel core. As it naturally oxidises through use and moisture, it develops a slightly sweet taste that stimulates salivation and encourages the horse to seek a softer, more consistent contact. The brownish-grey oxidation is completely normal and expected.
