Harmony 1 Pelham long cheeks - Poponcini

The Poponcini Harmony 1 flexible straight mouth Pelham with long shanks is designed for horses with sensitive mouths that need a comfortable contact while requiring greater control. It can be particularly suitable for strong, powerful horses with good balance.

Its straight mouthpiece provides symmetrical contact and distributes pressure across the tongue and bars. Its square shape with rounded edges increases the contact area, while its flexibility encourages a more comfortable connection.

The flexible Harmony 1 rubber bends up to 90° and remains at ambient temperature. The mouthpiece is reinforced with a flexible steel cable and features metal rings where the cheeks pass through the mouthpiece, as well as small moulded bit guards for additional comfort.

The Pelham acts on the mouth through the mouthpiece, on the lower jaw through the curb chain and on the poll through leverage. The long shanks increase this leverage and provide greater control. It can be used with Pelham roundings or with four reins.

Sold without curb chain or curb chain hooks.

Rubber: This soft material provides a high level of comfort and is particularly suitable for sensitive horses or those experiencing difficulties with contact. Rubber remains at ambient temperature, which can help with bit acceptance. Sufficient salivation is important to help prevent heating caused by friction. Poponcini offers three levels of flexibility: Harmony A, Harmony 1 and Harmony 2. Harmony 1, the most popular, bends up to 90°. The mouthpiece is reinforced with a flexible steel cable and features metal rings where the cheeks pass through the mouthpiece. Handcrafted.

Attention: This material is vulnerable and is not guaranteed by the manufacturer against wear caused by biting. It is strongly advised not to use a bit that is excessively damaged, as it could injure the horse's bars, tongue or palate.
