The German D-rings provide lateral guidance and allow the leverage effect to be adjusted according to the rein attachment point. The Easy Control double-jointed mouthpiece remains mobile with a light contact but locks when the horse braces or leans on the bit, creating a firmer and more direct action that encourages a return to a lighter contact. Description
The Stübben Easy Control German D-ring bit is designed for horses that tend to brace against the hand or become too strong in the contact. Its locking system provides a firmer action when the horse leans on the bit.
The double-jointed mouthpiece remains mobile with a light contact, then locks to act like a straight mouthpiece when the horse braces against the hand. As soon as the horse returns to a lighter contact, the mouthpiece becomes mobile again.
Made from stainless steel, it provides a stable and durable contact.
The D-shaped rings help frame the horse's mouth and improve directional control. The reins can be attached to the main ring for a moderate action or to the lower slot for increased leverage. The bit can be used with or without a curb chain and is supplied with one.
