Lowering bit, you can put the reins fixed on the lower ring. This bit has a gag action. The German 3 ring bit is particular as it prevents from any pinching around the usual friction areas. The lever action is progressive and slightly softer than the lever action of a classic 3 ring bit. This bit can be used with reins attached on the bottom ring, with bit connectors or with two pairs of reins.
