The Trust Segundo eggbutt gag bit features a double-jointed mouthpiece with a tongue relief design. Its shape provides additional space around the central joint, while the eggbutt rings ensure direct and stable contact. They also help protect the corners of the horse's mouth from pinching.

The tongue relief mouthpiece provides extra room for the horse's tongue, making it more comfortable than a traditional jointed bit. Pressure is distributed more towards the bars and corners of the mouth, reducing pressure on the tongue.

Its sweet iron material encourages chewing and salivation, promoting relaxation and acceptance of the bit.

The gag bit helps encourage collection, improving and maintaining the horse's balance. It encourages the horse to lift its withers and engage its hindquarters underneath its body.

This bit features special cheekpieces that pass through two additional rings positioned perpendicular to the main bit rings. This design allows it to be used with two or four reins, or with gag bit converters.
