Hard rubber mullen mouth pelham bit - AJR

The AJR hard rubber mullen mouth pelham bit is designed for horses that prefer steady contact and consistent pressure on the tongue and bars. Its straight Mullen mouthpiece provides symmetrical action and distributes pressure evenly.

The hardened rubber covering offers a less cold contact than metal, while the reinforced steel core provides additional strength. Its rigid construction maintains consistent rein aids without significant mouthpiece deformation.

The pelham cheeks provide leverage action on the poll and chin through the curb chain. The intensity of this action depends on the adjustment and rein attachment.

Rubber: Hardened rubber provides a less cold contact than metal while maintaining a firm feel in the horse's mouth. On this model, the mouthpiece is reinforced with a steel core to improve strength and stability.

Warning: This material is vulnerable and is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty against wear caused by chewing. Using a severely damaged bit is strongly discouraged, as it may injure the horse's bars, tongue and palate.
