Inno Sense 2,5 Eggbutt flexi hard d'occasion - Trust

Our expert's opinion

The straight-bar Pessoa olive bit provides consistent and symmetrical contact. It helps the horse establish contact with the bit and is particularly suitable for horses that struggle to stretch and seek contact when using jointed bits.

The straight mouthpiece applies direct pressure to the tongue and bars while freeing the palate. Its straight design ensures symmetrical contact from the rider's hands to the horse's mouth, eliminating any risk of pinching the tongue.

All these features help the horse gain confidence in its bit, seek a steady contact and stretch into it, making this an ideal bit for young horses.

The smooth and soft-to-the-touch InnoSense resin can also be considered for horses that have difficulty salivating. The firm resin prevents the horse from leaning too heavily on the bit while encouraging it to establish contact, whereas the softer resin encourages the horse to stretch into the contact.

Light contact from the horse on the bit can help improve its movement by encouraging greater hind-leg engagement.

The Pessoa/olive version provides a lowering effect while still allowing the horse to establish good contact. The olive rings (fixed bit rings) provide more direct communication between the rider's hand and the horse's mouth, encouraging the horse to seek and maintain contact.

The fixed olive rings also protect the corners of the mouth from any risk of pinching. The leverage action is less pronounced than with a traditional Pessoa bit, as the pressure is distributed more directly onto the horse's mouth through the olive rings.
