3 Rings single jointed - Waldhausen

The Waldhausen Single Jointed Pessoa Bit is designed for horses requiring greater control, particularly those that tend to lean on the rider's hands or carry their head high.

Its single-jointed mouthpiece mainly applies pressure to the tongue and bars, with possible pressure on the palate depending on the horse's mouth conformation and rein tension. It provides direct communication while maintaining some mobility inside the mouth.

Made from stainless steel, this bit offers a smooth, durable and easy-to-maintain surface.

The Pessoa rings allow the intensity of the action to be adjusted according to rein attachment. Their leverage applies pressure to the poll and encourages a lowering action. The reins can be attached to the lower ring or used with roundings connecting several rings.

Stainless steel: Stainless steel is commonly used for bits due to its strength and corrosion resistance. Its smooth surface provides neutral contact in the horse's mouth, without any particular taste. Easy to maintain, it offers excellent durability and resists wear over time.
