The 2283 2 in 1 3-Ring Bit single jointed offers two levels of rein influence in one bit. Depending on the way it is attached, riders can choose between a softer, rounded side for gentle communication or a more angular side for more precise control. The 3-ring cheek configuration allows a variety of rein attachment options for individual pressure distribution on the mouth and poll.
Description
The Stubben STEELtec Verdun double-jointed bit is ideal for horses that benefit from improved lateral guidance while maintaining a stable contact. Its D-shaped cheeks enhance steering precision and help keep the horse straight while discouraging it from putting its tongue over the bit.
The double-jointed mouthpiece naturally follows the horse's mouth thanks to its central lozenge and compact joints. Pressure is distributed evenly over the tongue and bars without creating a nutcracker effect or excessive pressure on the palate.
Made entirely from stainless steel, this bit offers excellent durability while remaining neutral in the horse's mouth. Rounded ring holes reduce the risk of pinching the lips for greater comfort.
With a 16 mm mouthpiece, it provides an excellent balance between stability, precision and comfort for everyday riding.
