Nicole Rubber bit 2,5 ring - Fager

The Fager Nicole Pessoa bit is designed for sensitive horses that benefit from a steadier contact while allowing the rider to adjust the amount of leverage through the different Pessoa rein positions. It is particularly suitable for young horses, horses in rehabilitation, or those lacking confidence in the contact.

The straight TPU mouthpiece features a slightly narrower centre section that adapts comfortably over the tongue while reducing pressure on the bars and palate. This design encourages a consistent connection and helps horses that tend to become tense or raise their head when rein pressure is applied.

The mouthpiece is available in two firmness levels. The Soft version, identified by its light green colour, offers maximum flexibility and encourages relaxation and acceptance. The Hard version, in dark green, retains the same ergonomic shape but provides a firmer feel for horses that respond better to clearer and more defined rein aids.

The Pessoa cheeks offer progressive leverage depending on the rein attachment, distributing pressure between the mouth, poll and chin when used with a curb strap. This provides additional balance and control while maintaining the comfort of the TPU mouthpiece.

The 12 mm mouthpiece offers precise communication while remaining comfortable for sensitive horses.

The mouthpiece is made from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), a flexible, durable and non-toxic material. It combines the comfort of rubber with excellent longevity while providing a pleasant feel that encourages relaxation and bit acceptance.

Caution: This material is vulnerable and is not covered by the manufacturer against damage caused by chewing. It is strongly recommended not to use an excessively worn bit, as it may injure the horse's bars, tongue, or palate.
