The Fager Hedvig eggbutt bit is designed for horses that need a stable connection while maintaining a light feeling in the rider's hand. Its innovative Front Lock system offers two different actions simply by reversing the mouthpiece, allowing the bit to be adapted to each horse's individual needs.

When fitted with the Front Lock engaged, the double-jointed mouthpiece progressively locks under rein contact, providing the stability of a straight bit while retaining articulation. Reversed, it works like a traditional double-jointed bit while preventing horses from drawing the bit back to chew on it.

The small tongue relief improves comfort for horses with sensitive tongues that open the mouth, pull on the reins or move the tongue excessively during work. Titanium is extremely lightweight and neutral in the mouth, encouraging faster response and greater acceptance of the bit.
