The Nathe loose ring double jointed bit is a soft bit. Nathe's top-of-the-range resin encourages horses to salivate. When acting on the mouth, the soft bit will curve and distribute pressure in the mouth on the tongue, bars and commissures. The free rings make it easier to play with the fingers and offer slightly less direct contact between the hand and the mouth. The alloy of the bit allows your horse's mouth to relax and your aids to be transmitted more smoothly. Unlike the single bit, which acts on the palate, the single bit acts on the tongue. It's important to remember that a horse's palate is a sensitive area that must not be neglected. It can be recommended for horses that are relatively easy to train but sensitive in the mouth, or with a hollow palate.The NATHE CONTROL is a double jointed bit that looks similar to conventional NATHE models. However, it is used as a correction and training bit: from a certain angle it locks and then operates like a straight bar. The bit lies comfortably in the mouth when the horse is working properly.
