Turnado Simple Jointed 2-Ring Bit with Full Cheek – Sprenger

Our expert's opinion

BIT CATEGORY B : Good conditionThe Turnado Pro 2-Ring Bit with full cheek is a single-jointed bit with a carefully designed anatomical shape. It was developed for horses with a short oral cavity and normal to abundant flesh at the corners of the mouth. The TURNADO PRO with full cheek provides an innovative solution to anatomical challenges while offering improved lateral guidance thanks to the side arms. Its ergonomic design, with a 45° forward-angled joint, as with all TURNADO bits, ensures even pressure distribution on the tongue and prevents pressure peaks at the joint. The full cheek side arms stabilize the bit in the horse's mouth, enhancing direction and preventing lateral tipping. The symmetrical contact surface of the bars compensates for the natural curvature of the horse's tongue and mouth, while a small port keeps the tongue centered and immobile, which is particularly beneficial for horses that tend to lift their tongue. The straight shape of the bit reduces the risk of bruising in front of the first molar in short mouths, promoting a gentle, precise, and anatomically respectful action. This full cheek bit is ideal for sensitive horses, young horses in training, or horses requiring extra lateral guidance, while providing the rider with clear and adjustable control.
