An innovative design that combines the benefits of a double-jointed mouthpiece with those of a ported one. Traditional double-jointed bits act mainly on the tongue, applying even pressure across its surface. Many horses find this uncomfortable, even though they prefer the mobility of jointed bits. This mouthpiece was designed to address that issue - it retains the characteristics of a double-jointed bit while significantly reducing tongue pressure. The lightweight titanium material encourages the horse to chew and enhances comfort in communication with the rider. Recommended for horses: strong, heavy in contact, preferring jointed bits, intolerant to tongue pressure, or prone to placing the tongue over the bit.
