Baby pelham double jointed bit thin - Privilège Equitation

The baby pelham from Privilège is a double jointed bit. It allows a good relaxation of your horse's mouth thanks to its small copper part in the centre. Unlike the single jointed which acts on the palate, the double jointed acts on the tongue without causing pain. It is important to know that the palate of the horse is a sensitive area that should not be neglected. The middle of the bit is made of copper alloy, which gives the horse a pleasant taste when it comes into contact with the mouth, stimulating chewing and salivation. The break is made in such a way as to avoid tongue pinching. This bit is recommended for horses that have difficulty relaxing.

The pelham is a fixed lever bit. Through its action on the neck of the horse and the chin (mandible) it has a lowering effect more or less important depending on the size of the branches and its installation (adjustment in two or four reins, rings, bracelet).
