Description
Fulmer rings are placed close to the horse's flank, making it easier to steer and keeping the mouthpiece stable. Loose rings are placed further away from the corners of the mouth, exerting downward and inward pressure, encouraging the horse to lift forward and back towards your hand and avoiding a feeling of bit stiffness. This is a very comfortable choice for many horses and an excellent start for a young horse.
