Description
The gag bit works on the balance of the horse. It helps the rider make the horse work on his hind-end. It's a great tool to divide the points of pressure on the mouth and the poll. This type of bit can be used by amateurs and experts. You will see them often in the show ring. It needs specific cheek parts. It can also be used with only one pair of reins, or with bit connectors, or with 2 pairs of reins. It's a good channelising bit thanks to the full cheek side pieces. Simple mouthpiece for more comfort.
Material
Resin: Resin offers a softer contact that encourages relaxation. Soft and light, resin bits are gentle, suitable for young horses for breaking-in or sensitive mouths. Resin bits remain at room temperature. They offer a soft contact but are less tender and thick than a rubber bit.
Warning: This material is vulnerable and is not guaranteed by the manufacturer against wear and tear caused by biting. We strongly advise against using a bit that is too damaged, as this could injure the horse's bars, tongue and palate.
