Description
The Baucher resin bit from Trust is a single anatomical bit which offers a pleasant contact. Thanks to its alloy, it allows your horse's mouth to relax and your aids to be delivered more gently. Unlike the double bit, which acts on the tongue, the single bit acts on the palate. It's important to know that a horse's palate is a sensitive area that shouldn't be neglected. It can be recommended for horses that are relatively easy but sensitive in the mouth, with little palate sensitivity or with a hollow palate.
It has a relatively fine finish to limit the roughness that could be uncomfortable for the horse's tongue. It offers mobility in the mouthpiece that will encourage the horse to maintain a light contact. This is an interesting bit for a horse at ease with its mouthpieces, which can weigh down the hand with straight bits. The free rings offer a soft contact without leverage and make it easy to play with the fingers to relax the horse's forehand.
Bits from the Inno Sense Jointed collection can be used for all horses, but are particularly suitable for young horses and horses with sensitive mouths. The plastic used is FDA approved, which means the material is non-toxic and contains no plasticisers. Horses fitted with an Inno Sense Jointed mouthpiece follow the hand easily and accept the bit quickly.
The Verdun bit has D-shaped rings and a slight lever action. They only rotate along one axis, which prevents the corners of the mouth from being pinched. The flat side of the D-ring makes this bit more directional than an olive or ring snaffle, but less so than a needle bit.
