Description
: This bit is a single jointed that offers a simple contact. It allows a good relaxation of your horse's mouth by a smoother transmission of your aids. Unlike the double jointed which acts on the tongue, the single jointed acts on the palate. It is important to know that the palate of the horse is a sensitive area that should not be neglected. It can be recommended for horses that are relatively easy on the mouth, not very sensitive on the palate or have a hollow palate.
Waldhausen"s new anatomically shaped stainless steel bits are characterised by a mouthpiece adapted to the horse"s mouth. Their good position in the mouth and their even pressure on the tongue promote optimum chewing. Waldhausen"s anatomical bits promote a quicker acceptance of the bit. They enable preciser aids and influence on the tongue.
Material
Sweet Iron : The Sweet Iron alloy oxidizes in contact with the humidity of the mouth and the air. The oxidation brings a sweet taste that naturally stimulates the production of saliva. This corresponds to the effect of a sugar that is given to the horse at the beginning of the session but allows to diffuse this sweet taste throughout the work. This alloy allows a good acceptance of the bit and helps the horse to get in touch with its mouthpiece. The oxidation modifies the aspect of the bit during the sessions but does not alter its efficiency.
