Description
: The Universal double jointed bit is a comfortable bit thanks to its slightly flattened central break. Trust offers an even thickness of curvature with the ends of the barrels, which avoids roughness that could be uncomfortable for the horse. The double curvature offers good mobility to the bit, enabling good relaxation in horses that can lean on straight bits. It offers good freedom of movement in the horse's mouth. It's a versatile bit that can be used for both apprentice and mature horses. Its sweet iron alloy encourages the horse to chew and salivate, and provides relaxation.
The Universal bit can be adjusted to provide leverage for better control. It has a lowering effect. The reins can be fixed to the bottom ring or attached with rings to the middle and bottom rings. It can be used with a curb chain, for action on the mandible.
Material
Sweet iron: Sweet Iron alloy oxidizes on contact with moisture in the mouth and air. Oxidation brings a sweet taste that naturally stimulates saliva production. This corresponds to the effect of sugar given to the horse at the start of a session, but allows this sweet taste to be diffused throughout the work. As a result, this alloy ensures good acceptance of the bit and helps the horse make contact with the mouthpiece. Oxidation modifies the appearance of the bit as the session progresses.
