The Alain Ventre G2 straight bit in soft resin is composed of a pessoa type bit and a leather strap that exerts pressure on both the chin and the muzzle via the noseband. When the tension of the reins is important, to relieve the mouth, the action of the hand is sent back to the front and back of the noseband. This keeps the horse calm, while increasing the bounce of the gaits and the control. It allows the horse to be tilted onto the hindquarters while maintaining a high level of tension. It can be used with two or four reins or alliances. The pressure on the back of the neck is less than with a pessoa bit due to the action of the strap. The straight resin model is particularly suitable for horses with a sensitive mouth that may have difficulty in stretching. This bit is used with a crossed noseband to attach the leather strap.
