The "ultra comfy" double snaffle bit surrounds the horse's tongue thanks to the curvature of the ends of its barrels. Thanks to its blocking, it maintains the angle around the tongue and cannot pinch. It has a more precise action than a classic double snaffle bit and allows to keep a better tension while encouraging the horse not to lean on his bit.
The D-rings of the Verdun will allow for excellent lateral framing and a more direct contact of the hand to the mouth as well as a very slight leverage. This leverage is achieved because the space between the snaffle post and the rein is greater than on a ring with olives or a free ring.
Material
Sweet Iron : Sweet Iron alloy oxidizes upon contact with moisture in the mouth and air. The oxidation brings a sweet taste that naturally stimulates the production of saliva. This corresponds to the effect of a sugar that is given to the horse at the beginning of the session but allows to diffuse this sweet taste throughout the work. Therefore, this alloy allows a good acceptance of the bit and helps the horse to make contact with the mouthpiece. The oxidation modifies the aspect of the bit during the sessions.
