The drop cheek allow for immediate release and relief from tongue and bar pressure. The bit is immediately reset to a neutral position in the horse's mouth. The central barrel allows for a separation of reins aids, enabling a fine tuning of communication. The limited movement of the barrel allows the port to adjust to fit a wide range of mouth configurations. The adjustable port allows the horse to manoeuvre pressures between its tongue & bars. The port creates relief for the tongue while the barrel joint relieves pinch on the bars, while still allowing for individual lateral aids.
