Elias is a sweet-tasting, single-jointed Sweet iron Snaffle. Elias provides even pressure distribution and creates a comfortable and responsive contact in the horse's mouth. It is designed to be gentle and offers clear signals as it gives pressure on the sides of the tongue but less pressure on the top of the tongue. It enables fine-tuned communication between rider and horse for a positive and trusting riding experience. Fixed rings are attached to the mouthpiece, and the reins' contact will be more still towards the mouth. Fixed rings will encourage a horse to keep the contact towards the bit and create a stable feeling for both the horse and rider.
Material
Sweet Iron : Sweet Iron alloy oxidizes upon contact with moisture in the mouth and air. The oxidation brings a sweet taste that naturally stimulates the production of saliva. This corresponds to the effect of a sugar that is given to the horse at the beginning of the session but allows to diffuse this sweet taste throughout the work. Therefore, this alloy allows a good acceptance of the bit and helps the horse to make contact with the mouthpiece. The oxidation modifies the aspect of the bit during the sessions.
