Pessoa: The Pessoa bit has a lowering effect. The reins can be fixed on the bottom ring or with rings on the middle and bottom ring. The 3 rings allow many settings of intensity of the bit. Can be used with alliances (not included with the bit) or a second pair of reins (not included with the bit) according to the preferences of the rider.

Unlike the double broken bite that acts on the tongue, the single broken bite acts on the palate. It is important to know that the horse’s palate is a sensitive place not to be neglected. It can be recommended for horses relatively easy in the mouth, not very sensitive to the palate or having a hollow palate.
