Double Ring Lifter Bit - Harcour

: The Harcour brand raising bit is a single-broken bit that offers simple contact. It allows a better relaxation of the mouth of your horse by a transmission of your aids more smoothly. Unlike the double broken bite that acts on the tongue, the single broken bite acts on the palate. It is important to know that the horse’s palate is a sensitive place not to be neglected. It can be recommended for horses relatively easy in the mouth, not very sensitive to the palate or having a hollow palate. 

The lifting bit has the particularity of using special studs that pass through two rings perpendicular to the rings of the bit. This feature allows to use it with two, four reins or with alliances. The net reins will then have a traditional lifting effect, and the reins fixed to the special amounts, an often lowering effect. It helps to improve the balance of horse by allowing to bring the tip of the nose of the horse closer to its rider.
