The MARIA dee bit is a double bit with a titanium tongue. The shape of its barrel offers room for the horse's tongue. For this reason, it is particularly suitable for horses with a sensitive tongue that can shake their head with a more conventional bit. The quality of the finish of the titanium barrel and the fineness of the breaks make it particularly comfortable and very light. A very comfortable bit that naturally follows the shape of the tongue.
The Verdun bit has D-shaped rings and a slight lever action. They only rotate along one axis, which prevents the corners of the mouth from being pinched. The flat side of the D-ring makes this bit more directional than an olive or ring snaffle, but less so than a needle bit. The passes fix the bit and allow more direct action.
Material
Titanium : The titanium alloy has several advantages. First of all, it is an ultra-light bit that is soft to the touch, which makes it more discreet for the horse and therefore more comfortable. It helps to relieve tension in the cervical region. Titanium is relaxing, it promotes the production of saliva, which helps to relax the neck muscles. The titanium is covered with dioxide which makes it anti-bacterial.
