The CT Hackamore offers the gentlest option: it relieves pressure from the headpiece by lifting the noseband while light pressure is applied to the nose and brim. The noseband is covered with rubber while the bridle is an adjustable leather pad. Care should be taken to adjust the noseband so that it rests on the bony part of the nose, not on the soft cartilage.
