Hackamore with leather noseband - Waldhausen

The Waldhausen Padded Leather Nose Hackamore is designed for horses ridden bitless, particularly those sensitive to contact with a mouthpiece. This bitless bridle attachment leaves the horse's mouth completely free while allowing the rider to maintain directional control.

Its black leather noseband is particularly soft and cushioned thanks to its generous padding. It provides comfortable contact across the bridge of the nose, helping distribute pressure and reduce rubbing.

The 18 cm stainless steel shanks create leverage, acting mainly on the nose and chin, with a lighter effect on the poll. Directional aids are primarily applied through indirect rein pressure, using neck reining.

The adjustable noseband and curb strap allow the fit and intensity of the hackamore's action to be adapted. The choice and adjustment of the curb strap directly influence the pressure applied when the reins are engaged.
