: This straight rubber pelham bit provides comfort in the horse's mouth by distributing pressure points. It acts globally on the tongue and the bars. It is recommended for horses with a sensitive palate or a flat palate. The right bit allows the rider to obtain a symmetrical action. Its straight barrel encourages the horse to come and rest on the bit. It is recommended for horses that tend to run away from the contact, to dig the back, but also for horses with a sensitive palate or a flat palate. This bit has the particularity of resembling the bridle bit, but on the other hand it still has a large ring at the level of the barrel, which makes it possible to attach a second pair of reins or a pair of rings. Its leverage can vary depending on the size of its branches, the location of the reins and the setting of the curb chain. The curb chain allows you to vary the intensity of the bit. It is recommended to use curb chain guards for sensitive horses.

Rubber : Waldhausens new rubber bits are made of food-safe thermoplastic polyurethane. Please ensure to use rubber bits only on horses with a regular chewing activity.
Caution : This material is vulnerable and is not guaranteed by the manufacturer against wear and tear from biting. We strongly advise against using a bit that is too damaged, as this could injure the horse's bars, tongue and palate.
