French mouth anatomic baucher bit - Waldhausen

The Waldhausen Single Jointed Baucher Bit is designed for horses requiring greater stability in the contact and improved forehand balance, particularly those that tend to lean heavily onto their shoulders.

Its single-jointed mouthpiece applies pressure to the tongue and bars, with possible palate pressure depending on the horse's mouth conformation. It provides direct rein communication while maintaining some flexibility.

Made from stainless steel, this bit offers a smooth, durable and easy-to-maintain surface, providing neutral contact inside the horse's mouth.

The Baucher cheeks feature short upper arms attached to the bridle cheekpieces, helping stabilise the bit inside the mouth. They can support work on head carriage and balance without creating leverage comparable to that of a shanked bit.
