Hanna is a straight titanium bit with a maximal tongue relief.
A steady model for horses who needs to maintain a stable contact. Hanna is especially suited to horses who have a sensitive tongue, mouth corners, and cut easily, developing sores.
Hanna is designed to be more stable in the mouth and less confusing. It works to keep the correct balance point (BP) in the mouth. If you have a bigger bend forward, you will also move the BP forward and reduce the effectiveness of your aids.
The loose rings offer a soft contact to the mouth. They allow for a slight indirect contact compared to fixed rings, making it easier to play in the fingers and limiting excessive tension. The titanium alloy allows the bit to be very light and relaxed. This further reduces the pressure which makes it a very well accepted alloy. It is therefore interesting for a horse that has difficulty settling on its bit and/or a sensitive horse that might have a tendency to stick its tongue out.
Material
Titanium : The titanium alloy has several advantages. First of all, it is an ultra-light bit that is soft to the touch, which makes it more discreet for the horse and therefore more comfortable. It helps to relieve tension in the cervical region. Titanium is relaxing, it promotes the production of saliva, which helps to relax the neck muscles. The titanium is covered with dioxide which makes it anti-bacterial.
