: The Sprenger gag bit double jointed offers a simple contact. It allows your horse's mouth to relax more easily, with smoother transmissions of your aids. Unlike the single jointged, which acts on the palate, the double jointed acts on the tongue without causing pain. It's important to remember that a horse's palate is a sensitive area that must not be neglected.
The full cheek bit helps to channel the horse. The full cheek on either side of the mouth act on the nose, help control lateral flexion in young horses and make the bit more directional.
