The BR Drop cheek bit is a double jointed with a pleasant light contact. It relaxes your horse's mouth by gently transmitting your aids. Unlike the single jointed, which acts on the palate, the double jointed acts on the tongue without causing pain. It's important to remember that a horse's palate is a sensitive area that must not be neglected. Its slim barrel means that the horse doesn't have too much material in its mouth. The soft-contact mouthpiece distributes pressure evenly over the whole tongue. The mouthpiece is anatomically curved. Ideal for sensitive horses that may be uneven in contact. The central part of the barrel lies flat on the tongue. The thicker the central part, the greater the pressure on the tongue.
