Marcus Sweet iron Fixed rings - Fager

Fager Marcus is a Double-Jointed bit with tongue relief. Our bits are designed to have a 100% smooth surface, including around the joints. The joints are designed and constructed to never push against the palate or sit on top of the bars. All these clever features result in a highly comfortable bit that naturally fits the contours of the tongue.

Fager's smooth joints are designed to never press against the sides of the palate or create uneven pressure over the bars, making the pressure over the tongue more gentle.

The small tongue relief, combined with the smooth joints, makes this bit a good option for horses with sensitive tongues who can open their mouths, pull the reins, and move the tongue around.

Fixed rings are attached to the mouthpiece, and the reins’ contact will be more still towards the mouth. Fixed rings will encourage a horse to keep the contact towards the bit and create a stable feeling for both the horse and rider.

If you prefer a thinner bit, we recommend the bradoon version Milton instead, which has a 12 mm thickness. The design is the same, but the mouthpiece is slimmer and the bit rings are slightly smaller in diameter.
