Stephanie's double-jointed mouthpiece has a tongue relief, relieving constant pressure. This bit is a good option for horses that can get strong in the contact, lean on the bit where you want a lighter and softer contact in the hand, and have a faster response when you take the reins. The Roller is positioned further down than the joints to increase the point-pressure on the tongue. Creating pressure when your horse pulls or feels heavy in your hand without creating consistent pressure.The roller also allows horses something to play with, perfect for horses who can feel numb to the contact. Fixed rings are attached to the mouthpiece, and the reins' contact will be more still towards the mouth. Fixed rings will encourage a horse to keep the contact towards the bit and create a stable feeling for both the horse and rider. The bradoon rings are smaller than our traditional fixed rings to fit perfectly with a weymouth on a double bridle but can be used as a snaffle alone.
