: The John Goyo Aga bit is double snaffle bit. The Goyo-Aga bit has a strong action as it is used with a curb chain and puts pressure on the bars with a leverage effect on the neck. It is mainly used for horses with a lot of natural impulsion and can be used in 3 ways :

1. Soft, with the reins attached to the top notch, it is halfway between the effect of the olive bit and the baucher.
2. Severe, with the reins in the bottom notch, where the leverage is most important.
