Verdun simple jointed resin

: The Verdun resine bit from Beris is an anatomically designed single jointed with a pleasant contact. Thanks to its alloy, it allows your horse's mouth to relax and your aids to be transmitted more smoothly. Unlike the double jointed, which acts on the tongue, the single jointed acts on the palate. It's important to remember that a horse's palate is a sensitive area that must not be neglected. It can be recommended for horses that are relatively easy to handle but sensitive in the mouth, or with a hollow palate.

The Verdun bit has D-shaped rings, it has a slight leverage action. They only rotate along one axis of rotation, which avoids pinching the corners of the mouth. The flat side of the D-ring makes this bit more directional than an olive or ring snaffle but less so than a needle bit. The soft contact barrel allows a better distribution of the pressure on the whole tongue. The barrel is anatomically curved. Ideal for horses that are sensitive but may be uneven in contact. The central part of the barrel lies flat on the tongue. This creates more pressure, the thicker the middle part, the more pressure on the tongue.
