Verdun double jointed resin

: The Verdun from Beris is a double jointed made of resin which offers a light and softer contact than sweet iron or stainless steel. It allows a good relaxation of the mouth of your horse by its alloy. Unlike the single jointed which acts on the palate, the double jointed acts on the tongue without causing pain. It is important to know that the palate of the horse is a sensitive area that should not be neglected. This bit offers stability for horses that need to seek more contact without being too stiff. A very comfortable bit that forms naturally on the tongue due to its anatomy. 

The Verdun bit has D-shaped rings, it has a slight leverage action. They only rotate along one axis of rotation, which avoids pinching the corners of the mouth. The flat side of the D-ring makes this bit more directional than an olive or ring snaffle but less so than a needle bit. The soft contact barrel allows a better distribution of the pressure on the whole tongue. The barrel is anatomically curved. Ideal for horses that are sensitive but may be uneven in contact. The central part of the barrel lies flat on the tongue. This creates more pressure, the thicker the middle part, the more pressure on the tongue.
